How can I add a custom search engine to my web site?
Posted by Search Engine Dude
I want to make a search engine that only searches certain sites. In other words, I would have a database of URL’s, and when people use the search engine on my site, it would search all throughout those preselected sites, but nowhere else. It would also need to be free and have an unlimited (or at least VERY large) ammount of sites that can be added to it.
It can be either the HTML code itself, or a free service on the web, although I would prefer to simply know the HTML code.

My recommendation is to customize the pages it sounds like you need php there but you have few options but it sounds like you need some technical knowledge in order to download search engine scripts.
My recommendation is to download search for something for search engine scripts im not sure there but you might be looking for higher education and nonprofit organizations good luck.
