The actual search engines to index your site.

You need to research SEO and read as much as you can. You need to learn about keywords. Each page needs different key words, titles, and descriptions.

Change your user name on YA to your web page name (see mine?). Curious people will check out your website.

Create a Yahoo 360 page and add your web page. Check out mine to see how I used it twice.

Join a forum on whatever topic you webpage is on and use your web address in your signature when you answer questions. But keep it real. Don’t spam.

In all of your e-mail accounts, go to your profile and create a signature that includes your website link.

    It’s a long process.

Also, submit you site to Google Webmaster Tools, MSN Live Webmaster, and Yahoo Site Explorer. It’s free.

ofcourse it won’t appear automatically. there are a lot of steps for the same

    1. Your meta tags have to be edited to add more words that describes your website.
    2. go to domain name submission engines and submit. there are free ones and paid ones too. choose either
    3. go to sites that gets you a lot of hits.

As soon as your site is available on the Internet, you can submit it to Google by completing the add URL form at

Another way to be listed, and to raise your page rank too, is by getting other websites to link to yours. After that, when Google’s robots or spiders, known as Googlebot, crawl the web, they should run across your site within a month or so. There are two types of crawls, fresh crawls and deep crawls. Your site most likely will first get a fresh crawl in which only pages Google deems most important are crawled. After Google runs a deep crawl of your site, most, if not all of the pages on your website that contain links from other pages will be crawled and subsequently listed on Google, except pages that are included in the file robots.txt, which lists pages that you don’t want Google to crawl and pages containing code that Google is unable to parse.

    Hope that helps!

The quickest way to get on Google is to get another site to link to you. The easiest way I’ve found to do that is to start a blog at (It takes just minutes.) Then, make a post that links to that. Google indexes wordpress.com, so you should show in Google results fairly quickly.

To check, enter the following into Google, without quotation marks: “site: yourdomainhere.com”

If your domain is in Google, it will show up in the results.

To get on Yahoo, submit your site here:
