Because it appears all search engines (at least the major ones like Yahoo) don’t use meta tags, I’m testing to see if I put keyphrases on my page in my content, if it will show up on the search engine. I am just wondering how soon it takes to show up? When i search Yahoo for the phrase I entered, it doesn’t appear yet, but its been only about 17 hours.

I was in the library with some friends and we were doing some research for some term papers. We all put in the same search criteria into the yahoo search engine and out of the 6 of us only 2 got the same exact search results (after a couple of tries). What would cause this type of anomaly to happen?
Okay, the same, exact identical criteria, entered in the same time fram of 3 seconds, using pcs that are running windows xp. The destination site has not changed and is accessible by the administrators computer, is a regularly used site that can be viewed by any age group (safe).
