How do I get my website on search engines?

I’ve added my website to a bunch of search engines. I’ve created a meta tag and placed it on my main page. When I go to search for my website, or even my keywords, my website is not showing up. What am I doing wrong? Is there something else I should be doing?

What are some good volunteer search engines online?

I am in 11th grade right now(well, a senior after tomorrow). I want to find some volunteer opportunities because I need a lot of community service. I only have about 53 hours now, and I want at least over 100 hours. However, I really want to volunteer in a dental clinic but I searched and searched all over the web and can’t find anything! Please help me!! If you know any volunteer search engines or websites, please give me the web link. Thank you guys so much!

How to get search engines to search based on number of hits rather than tags/keywords?

Is there a search engine that does that? Customized search engines only let you choose your keywords, what if I wanted to search for a popular blog or something? I want to search for popular sites with the same keyword, how do i do that?
